Posted by Muslim Members of Lok Sabha (Lower House of Indian Parliament) have again disappointed their constituencies as well as the community as majority of them remained tight-lipped not asking any question during the November-December 2009 Winter Session.
The session ran from November 11 to December 21 with 21 working days. According to official data available by January 2, 2010, of 29 Muslim Members of Lok Sabha 18 did not ask any question. However, once again, Asaduddin Owaisi, lone MP of All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslemeen (AIMIM) from Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) laughed his way to the constituency retaining leadership of Muslim MPs with 41 questions.
During the recent Winter Session, while 18 Muslim Lok Sabha Members did not ask any question, Asaduddin Owaisi asked the most – 41. This despite the fact that he was among the 32 MPs because of whose absence on November 30, 2009 the Question Hour was cancelled. These 32 MPs had questions listed against their name but were absent.
In good performance Owaisi is followed by BJP’s Syed Shahnawaz Hussain (Bhagalpur, Bihar) with 27 questions. Others whose questions touched double figure are J M Aron Rashid of Congress (19), M I Shanavas (Congress) 16, Monazir Hsasan of JD-U (11) and Badruddin Ajmal of AUDF (10).
As the ruling Congress has more Muslim MPs (10) in the present Lok Sabha, the party also has the largest share of ‘onlooker’ MPs (8 of 18 non-performers). Except J M Aron Rashid and M I Shanavas, all other MPs of the party – majority from North India including Asrarul Haq Qasmi and Muhammad Azharuddin, preferred to be silent.
BSP is the second top low performer as all four Muslim MPs of the party did not ask any question. The ranking is shared by Trinamool Congress (3 MPs) and Muslim League (2 MPs) – both parties are partners of the ruling alliance — who also remained silent.
The session ran for 21 days. There were four Muslim MPs who remained present in the House on all these days but only two of them asked question — BJP’s Syed Shahnawaz Hussain (21 questions) and Sk Saidul Haq of CPM (9 questions), the other two – Ismail Hussain (Cong) and Shafiqur Rahman Barq (BSP) did not have any question to ask.
The lowest performer in attendance was Mausam Noor of Congress (4 days).

Hello Mr. Azeem Khan,
I really appriciate your thoughts as you are very courageous to criticize the Asad Owaisi work and thoughts.
There should be someone who find faults and let the Asad Owaisi take that in positive spirit and work on it.
Many instance I saw you are very perticular about Telangana issue.
To be frank let me tell you one thing, in AP politics if you want to earn money, power and fame illegially you should come up with the telangana cause not by working hard and real cause of people which Mr. Asad Owaisi is doing for long time.
All the telangana leader are doing junk dramas whether it is KCR, Jana Reddy and D. Srinivas.
First answer my question why KCR suddenly started the Fast undo death, he would have done this if he really work for the cause of telangana people why congress won the elections in 2004 with the alliance with TRS and even in 2004 election manifesto congress said they will give telangana if voted to power. Why he din’t fight or performed fast unto death at that time.
He was Rural employment minister in Manmohan singh cabinet in 2004. At that time why he does not work for the cause of telangana people. He has swindle crores of rupees during that time, and never returned to Karimnagar from where he was elected MP.
Please dont follow your emotion Mr. Azeem think and follow your mind.
Now TRS lost complete image in Telangana as they got only 10 MLAs and 2 MPs now for the next five years they dont have any work as previously also they have never work for the welfare of the people.
Now congress ex MLAs D Srinivas and Jana Reddy also lost the elections in 2009 they have no work so unnecessary creating unrest in AP by the cause of Telangana.
Let me ask you one more question minister of telangana are only representing the telangana region not the andhra people so why they are not working for the development of that region.
Why journalist ask KCR why you want telangana he said 1. For self respect 2. Telangana telugu dialect is different 3. In Tollywood people are making fun of the telangana dialect.

You please remember one thing now people of TRS are saying Nizam did all the development in Hyderabad but after bifurcation the same people will tell Nizam exploited and looted us.
Let me clarify telangana is not as under developed as the junk politicans are telling.
People of telangana are not as hard working as people of andhra and seema. They want free flow of money without work that will definately effect our development.
Now KCR want Telangana as Hyderabad is highly developed and he want to eat all the taxes from the IT ITES, parma and biotech companies.
At appropriate time Majlis will take stand and that will definately help the minorities.
TRS people are telling after getting telangana they will give jobs to minorities but who will give garuntee that we will get jobs. Just tell me.
YSR government has given 5% reservation and fee waiver that none of the minorities in other states are enjoying.
May all give wisdom and courage to MIM and they always work for the development of minorities.

We all are proud of your work in parliament, my younger brother collect all your videos( youtube) from net of LS, Assembly and various meetings held around Hyderabad. But your party (all members) have to prove it by serving people, by solving their problems, i hope you might be doing a sincere work but how this news will reach to all people. They still think that old city is still the same as it is used to, since i am from Sec-bad my dear non-Muslim brothers talk in this manner.
May i know that according to AIMIM, what are the Advantages and Disadvantages of forming separate state Tenagana ?. Becoz at least we should know this as we are connected to AIMIM party since long back.
