Dubai Indian Islamic Center hosted a session on ‘The scope of Islamic Banking in India’ at its office in Dubai on Saturday evening. The session was attended by Asaduddin Owaisi, a Member of Parliament from Hyderabad.
Local bankers and financial experts exchanged thoughts and highlighted the need to promote Islamic banking in India. P.T. Abdul Rahman introduced the guests as Syed Khalil delivered the presidential address.
Later, Asaduddin Owaisi briefed the audience on the prospect of debating the idea of an Islamic banking system at a national level. The function came to a close with a vote of thanks.
