Malegaon blast accused allege Sena-Dawood link
Mumbai, April 23: Abhinav Bharat, the right wing group linked to the 2008 Malegaon bomb blast, has alleged that Shiv Sena is hand in glove with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
The Sena’s “partnership” with Dawood was discussed in a meeting between Lt Col Prasad Purohit, Dayanand Pandey and retired Major Ramesh Upadhyay, members of Abhinav Bharat and accused in the blast case, according to the transcript of the meeting submitted before a special court here.
“Shiv Sena party is in close partnership with Dawood and his men and are involved in extortion and collection. Shiv Sena and Balasaheb Thackeray have betrayed the Hindus,” Purohit and an unidentified person have been quoted as saying at the meet, as per the transcript.
The transcript forms part of the supplementary chargesheet filed by Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) in the September 29, 2008 blast case. The supplementary chargesheet was filed before the MCOCA court here yesterday.
In the meet, Purohit, Pandey, Upadhyay and a witness in the case discussed how the Sena had betrayed Hindus and helped Dawood and his illegal activities flourish in Mumbai.
“In the day time, they (Shiv Sena) shout slogans about protection of Hindus but in the night they sit with Muslims and deal in illegal activities,” Purohit said.
When contacted, Sena spokesman Sanjay Raut declined to comment.

Thanks for the link to Akbar bhai’s speech. Salman bhai I agree with you, Akbar bhai jaise aur aajaengay to Inshaallah hyderabad ke musalmaano ke liye accha rahega. Inshaallah after this win in the next 5 years Akbar will take up more projets for the upliftment of muslims and also complete all the ones which he have started and prove why the young generation of hyderabadi’s admire him and love him.
Inshaallah will win the elections by huge margin.
